The 164th Clearfield County Fair kicks off July 11

CLEARFIELD — Each year the Clearfield County Fair offers big name artists in concert at the grandstand along with a carnival, tasty food, livestock, free entertainment and other attractions. This year is no exception.
The headliners in 2025 are Zach Top on Sunday, July 13, Tucker Wetmore and Corey Kent on Friday, July 18, and Stephen Pearcy of Ratt, with Ace Frehley of Kiss and special guest Vixen, on Saturday, July 19.
Other shows include the Bullride Mania Rodeo at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, with kids’ activities at 6:30 p.m. and Full Pull Productions Truck and Tractor Pull on Thursday, July 17.
Gate admission is $5 and does not include the carnival rides. But, it does cover the free entertainment on the Grove Stage and in the Expo II Plaza, harness racing, livestock exhibits, and displays of various art, photography, baked goods, needlework and more.
The festivities start on Friday, July 11, with the Clearfield County Fair Queen Contest. Entrance to the fair is free that day. The carnival, which opens at 4 p.m., is provided by Powers & Thomas Midway Entertainment.
3 of M, a three piece rock band consisting of three equal sides of a musical triangle with Matt Day (guitar and vocals), Matt Buhler (bass and vocals) and Manny Barbezzenit (drums) will perform at 7 p.m. on the Grove Stage.
On Saturday, July 12, there will be a horse pull at 11 a.m. and harness racing at 5:30 p.m.
Elvis or Ryan Pelton, an international, award winning, Elvis tribute artist, actor and singer/songwriter, will perform at 1:30 p.m., 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. on the Grove Stage.
Harness racing starts at 1 pm. Sunday, July 13.
DJ Super Stew will be on the Grove Stage from 6 pm. until closing.
Monday, July 14, will feature the annual Fireman’s Parade at 6 pm., followed by fireworks.
DJ Super Stew will be on the Grove Stage from 4 to 8 pm.
Tuesday, July 15, is Children’s Day with free gate admission from 10 a.m. until noon. A discounted wristband to ride all day will be available for $20.
The Little Mermen: The Ultimate Disney Tribute Show “brings Disney’s beloved songs to life with a rockin’ twist,” at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. on the Grove stage.
There will be harness racing at 5:30 p.m. with the annual Hat Derby Contest at 5 p.m.
On Wednesday, July 16, harness racing begins at 1 p.m.
On the Grove Stage will be The Mack Berry Band, “a high energy band that performs a wide variety of music from classic rock to county and much more.” They will play at 2 p.m., 5 pm. and 8 p.m.
Thursday, July 17, is Senior Citizens Day with those over 65 receiving free gate admission from noon to 6 p.m.
The Grove Stage will host The Clark Jackson Band, which has been making a name for themselves on the Northeast fair circuit. They will perform at 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Friday, July 18, is Military Day with free admission to military personnel from noon until 6 p.m.
Over at the Grove Stage, Over the Influence, who is no stranger to Clearfield County as all the members come from the Clearfield-Curwensville area, will entertain the crowd at 6 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. The group includes Mark Sopic, lead guitar; Dave Curulla, rhythm guitar and harmonica; Denny Accordino, drums; and Jeff Johnston, bass guitar.
Saturday, July 19, will feature the Junior Livestock Sale at the Livestock Show Ring at 9 a.m.
On the Grove Stage, Katz 22, a four piece powerhouse rock and roll band with excellent musicianship and superb vocalists will perform at 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Each day there will also be free entertainment in the Expo II Plaza featuring the following:
Dialed Action On BMX “this heart pumping show will feature world-class BMX athletes performing jaw dropping stunts and tricks on their bikes.”
Scott’s World of Magic “features futuristic elements that capture the attention and imagination” of people of all ages. This new version of Scott’s show which features its own self contained stage “has quickly become the most in-demand magic attraction in the fair industry.”
The First Bite Fishing Tank “provides a hands-on experience to help youngsters as well as adults learn how to handle different species of fish and return them safely back in the water.”
